Sundust works closely with solar companies to offer project financing and power purchase agreements (PPA) for their customers and projects. Our partners usually involve us at an early stage during project development, whereas we prepare the necessary contracts and risk assessments. If requested by our partners, we accompany their sales team to customer meetings in order to provide best possible advice to their clients. Once projects are confirmed, we provide construction financing and contract management, we implement electricity metering and we set up invoicing procedures with electricity consumers and the utility, enabling Sundust to operate the installation. For electricity metering and invoicing, we collaborate with various ZEV service providers. Due to our flexible contract and financing structure, we are able to integrate roof renovations, battery storage systems, electric vehicle charging stations and load management controls into the overall concept.
The PV installation realized for the brewery Brasserie Docteur Gab's is an example of such collaboration. The project was developed in close collaboration with Solstis, a solar EPC. Solstis supported Sundust in project planning and provided permitting and construction. At the brewery's request, the installation was significantly expanded in 2023, and Sundust set up a self-consumption association (ZEV) to further reduce electricity costs for all consumers in the building. Electricity metering and ZEV invoicing are handled by the utility Romande Energie.
