In 2023, Sundust increased its installed photovoltaic capacity by connecting new installations of 1.06 MWp to the grid. These installations supply local businesses with solar power, enabling them to procure electricity at a lower cost through long-term power purchase contracts. In two instances, a “Zusammenschluss zum Eigenverbrauch (ZEV)” was established to supply solar electricity to multiple businesses in the same building. All solar installations were realized in collaboration with installation partners, with Sundust handling financing and operation of the facilities. Additional solar installations are currently under construction and in planning.
